Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Proposal Engineer - Civil Structural to support the Adhesive Technologies business. The role focuses on technical sales, project support, and building relationships with structural engineers and certified applicators across multiple U.S. locations.

Ideal candidates have a civil/structural engineering background and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and a willingness to travel. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Client-focused with strong engineering/construction background.
• Experience as project engineer, field engineer, design engineer, or sales engineer is valuable.
• Interest in applications engineering or technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of projects.
• Provide technical support to structural engineering customers who specify Henkel FRP materials.
• Support certified applicator customers who install Henkel FRP materials.
• Develop relationships with the structural engineering community and identify business opportunities.
• Develop and manage specifications that add value for customers.
• Assist Sales in generating and qualifying leads; support opportunity progress.
• Maintain CRM data and support contract management and tool updates.
• Bridge between sales and other departments to coordinate daily operations.
• Track customer satisfaction and analyze sales data to improve strategies.
