Public safety staff help maintain a secure and supportive campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities may include patrolling campus grounds, responding to incidents, assisting the campus community, and supporting emergency preparedness efforts. These roles are vital to ensuring a safe learning environment and promoting a sense of security across all College locations.
Positions listed are part of the Suffolk County Civil Service classifications. Compensation is based on the collective bargaining agreement between the College and the Association of Municipal Employees (AME).
