Job summary

Qualifications

One year as a Human Relations Representative Trainee or equivalent federal/state experience with education requirements.
Alternatively, one year of investigative work plus a bachelor’s degree with 12 relevant credits.
Equivalent combination of training and experience meeting the 12-credit requirement.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inquiries into discrimination complaints and gather accurate information.
Maintain working knowledge of state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
Schedule and lead Fact Finding Conferences to review issues and explore resolution.
Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses to secure testimony and details.
Document all case events in the Case Management System with accuracy and timeliness.
Communicate proposals and help parties work toward fair, voluntary agreements.
