This internship emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on experience on active construction sites. You will travel to sites, prepare quantity take-offs, coordinate with suppliers, and help price bids under supervision. Starting rate: $21.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software; solid math and analytical skills.
• Effective organizational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for proposals.
• Assist in the preparation of project setups.
• Provide clerical support to the project management team.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
• Schedule and assist in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide vendor support and solicitation for bids and ongoing projects.
• Assist senior project manager and project managers in pricing bid documents.
• Request timely reports from foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Always represent Kwest Group professionally.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
