Job summary

You will support Senior PMs with estimating, project setups, and field coordination on multiple projects, with hands-on exposure to take-offs, bid pricing, and procurement.

This paid internship starts at $21.00 per hour and requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to work flexibly

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
• Ability to schedule and complete tasks without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for proposals.
• Assist in the preparation of project setups.
• Provide clerical support to the project management team.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
• Schedule and assist in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide vendor support and solicitation for bids and ongoing projects.
• Assist senior project manager and project managers in pricing bid documents.
• Request accurate and timely reports from the project foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors assigned to all projects.
• Always represent Kwest Group in a professional manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
