Job summary

Kwest Group is offering a Project Management Intern position in Ohio for students pursuing Civil Engineering or Construction Management. You will support Senior Project Managers and assist with estimating, project setups, and vendor coordination while gaining hands-on experience on active construction projects.

The role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong math/analytical skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
• Solid math and analytical skills.
• Ability to schedule and complete tasks without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for proposals.
• Assist in the preparation of project setups.
• Provide clerical support to the project management team.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
• Schedule and assist in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide vendor support and solicitation for bids and ongoing projects.
• Assist senior project manager and project managers in pricing bid documents.
• Request accurate and timely reports from the project foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors assigned to all projects.
• Always represent Kwest Group in a professional manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
