Job summary

Kwest Group is offering a Project Management Intern position to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. The internship includes supporting senior project managers, assisting with estimating, and coordinating project activities while developing organizational and analytical skills.

Interns will travel to sites, prepare proposals, and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the PM team. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and solid math and analytical skills.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for proposals.
• Assist in the preparation of project setups.
• Provide clerical support to the project management team.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
• Schedule and assist in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide vendor support and solicitation for bids and ongoing projects.
• Assist senior project manager and project managers in pricing bid documents.
• Request accurate and timely reports from the project foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors assigned to all projects.
• Always represent Kwest Group in a professional manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
