Job summary

Bowman in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Program Manager for Civil Project Management to lead the full lifecycle of multiple civil engineering projects. The role requires guiding staff, budgets, schedules, and client expectations while coordinating with design professionals, subconsultants, and municipalities to drive profitability and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, GIS, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Ability to attain related professional certifications such as AICP, PE, PMP, GISP, CQE, or similar.
• 15+ years of experience with 3–5 years in project management, asset management, capital planning, infrastructure maintenance, or conservation planning.
• Experience managing personnel to perform simultaneous efforts.
• Proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
• Ability to write reports, development applications, submittal documents and response letters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management programs with task assignments, scheduling, QA/QC, reporting and budgeting.
• Coordinate with internal departments, government agencies, and stakeholders to align production efforts.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations on project status and team performance.
• Utilize GIS and modeling tools to support decision making.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and production performance metrics.
