Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and site development projects from blueprint to reality, guiding teams to deliver high-quality results.

You'll manage schedules, budgets, crews, and stakeholders, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and profitability on multiple civil construction programs across Arizona. A strong leader with excellent communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing civil construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with site development, grading, utilities, excavation, paving, or infrastructure.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil plans and specifications.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration skills.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with decisive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and owners.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with field superintendents to keep work progressing safely.
• Negotiate contracts and manage costs to maximize profitability.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and promote a safety-focused culture.
• Build lasting client relationships that lead to repeat business.
