Job summary

Management Performance Associates in Nashville, TN is seeking a Civil Preconstruction Estimator to lead our preconstruction department. You will analyze drawings and specs to prepare detailed cost estimates and orchestrate bid processes for civil projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of estimating civil work (excavation, sitework, utilities) and strong skills in Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK, and Excel, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator in the construction industry.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specs, and documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate estimating and bid processes for civil projects.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
