You will orchestrate bid processes, solicit subcontractor quotes, and provide value engineering recommendations to help the company win work. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of civil estimating experience, a proven track record across excavation, sitework, and utilities, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; eye for detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate the estimating and bid processes for civil projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
