Job summary

Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a full-time mid-level Associate Attorney in Boston, MA, with a focus on premises liability, trucking, construction, employment and product liability defense. This civil litigation role requires 3–5 years of experience and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

You will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, draft pleadings and motions, conduct depositions and discovery, and collaborate with partners to develop effective litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar are essential prerequiites.
• At least three years of civil litigation experience and experience in MA state and federal courts.
• Self-starter with strong advocacy skills; ability to draft and argue dispositive motions, perform legal research, and respond to discovery.
• Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions; attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; manage deadlines.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials; develop litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and attorneys; provide regular case updates.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda; assist senior attorneys on cases.
