You will oversee the complete civil design effort for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, providing leadership, QA/QC, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You will plan tasks, manage budgets, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables while coordinating with clients and project managers to meet schedule goals and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience in civil design
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET/EAC-accredited program; PE licensure preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required or eligible

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for the civil design team on renewable energy projects
• Define project tasks, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements; monitor progress
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and internal stakeholders to ensure constructable designs
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians; ensure QA/QC standards across all work products
• Support business development and client communications to secure repeat work
