Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Engineering Project Lead to guide the design and execution of renewable energy projects, with emphasis on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

You will oversee engineering tasks, QA/QC, budgeting, and client coordination to deliver high-quality designs on schedule. The role requires strong leadership, EOR oversight, and collaboration with Project Managers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team and manage project scope, schedule, and budget
• Provide Engineer of Record oversight and QA/QC of designs
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and code agencies to ensure constructable designs
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, specs, and construction drawings (AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and staff while collaborating with multiple service groups
