Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) seeks a Civil General Foreman for a Stanton, TX jobsite. You will lead multiple foremen and crews, coordinate concrete pours and rebar, and ensure safety and client specifications are met on gas plant projects.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years as a civil foreman, ability to read civil/structural drawings, and experience with sight level and transit. Travel and long shifts are required, with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a civil general foreman.
• Must be able to read and understand civil, structural, and pipe drawings.
• Must be able to use a sight level and transit to determine coordinates and elevations.
• Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment.
• Previous experience leading teams of 40-50 people.
• Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times.
• Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple foremen and crews on site.
• Plan and schedule concrete pours and rebar installation.
• Coordinate with OPD Superintendent and managers for materials and scheduling.
• Coach employees on safety policies and procedures.
• Write daily reports and JSAs, and use email.
• Ensure forms and concrete meet client specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site.
