Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Civil Foreman for a Mont Belvieu, TX jobsite. The role requires leading field crews, interpreting civil/structural/pipe drawings, and ensuring safety and quality on heavy industrial projects in the natural gas and petrochemical sectors.

Major duties include coordinating with OPD supervision, planning daily tasks, conducting safety meetings, and maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a civil foreman.
• Must read and understand civil, structural, and pipe drawings.
• Experience using sight level and transit for elevations/coords.
• Previous gas plant construction experience preferred.
• Led teams of 10–30 workers.
• Advances safety culture on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and enforce safety policies.
• Coordinate work with supervisors and client reps.
• Discuss daily plans in morning production meetings.
• Assign tasks and ensure on-site training.
• Schedule concrete pours and material orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant job sites.
• Write daily reports and JSAs using a computer.
