Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD) is an engineering/construction company with Koch Engineered Solutions ties, located in Katy, TX, seeking an Ironworker General Foreman for a site in Mentone, TX. The role focuses on leading ironworking crews, ensuring safe installation of structural steel, and coordinating with rigging and crane teams on a remote project.

The position requires strong leadership, extensive foreman experience, and a proven safety record.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as foreman or supervisor.
• Knowledgeable of crane signals (hand and verbal).
• Must be a safety role model and follow company procedures.
• Must wear an approved full body harness and lanyard on elevated platforms.
• Willing to travel to remote areas.
• Able to attend and lead safety meetings.
• Able to work shifts up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week.
• Must meet all physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Lead ironworker crews and coordinate structural steel installation.
• Ensure proper rigging and crane operations with safety compliance.
• Communicate with rigging team and crane operator.
• Enforce safety policies on the jobsite and report hazards.
• Provide records of work completed to superintendent.
