Austin Industrial, a leader in self-perform maintenance and construction services, seeks a field supervisor for civil operations in the Phoenix area. You will direct foremen and crews across excavation, concrete, formwork, and utilities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Requirements include 5–8 years Journeyman experience, ability to read blueprints, and a strong track record in coordinating crews in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct foremen and craft personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per project requirements.
• Oversee excavation, grading, concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel, underground utilities, demolition, and general civil work.
• Verify grades, elevations, dimensions, layouts, and formwork.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Perform field walkdowns; monitor safety, quality, productivity, and progress.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials for scheduled work.
• Plan and sequence daily and upcoming work activities.
• Review drawings and project requirements with foremen and crews.
• Identify field conflicts, delays, and material shortages; communicate constructability concerns.
• Coordinate work with supervision, safety, quality, operations and other crafts.
• Collect timesheets for direct reports; maintain records and provide progress updates.
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning, and safety meetings.
