Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber in Cincinnati, OH invites you to join its Civil Field Internship for Summer 2027. You will assist with daily reports, verify construction meets specifications, and support project teams.

Currently enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering, you should have strong written and verbal communication and be willing to work outdoors and travel to sites. This internship offers growth opportunities and a pathway to full-time roles.

Working with our Civil Field team, you will help with daily reports and assist with verifying construction meets all specifications and other requirements.

What You'll Do

• Help prepare daily reports documenting jobsite conditions and completed work.
• Assist in verifying that construction meets design and contract requirements.
• Support engineers and inspectors with Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Participate in site visits and observe project execution firsthand.
• Learn how to communicate findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
