Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Civil Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team. You will act as the front-line contact to resolve issues and support WorkFace Planning, including work packaging and status updates.

Travel to project sites will be required as needed. Qualified candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of field engineering experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years field engineering experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills required.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify compliance with plans and specs.
• Interpret project schedules and ensure WorkFace Planning activities align with the schedule.
• Prepare status reports on progress, staffing, safety, and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Ensure field activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
