Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team across various industrial projects in the U.S. The role emphasizes resolving on-site technical issues, WorkFace Planning, RFI generation, and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and fabricators.

Qualified candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent, 3–5 years of field engineering experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of field engineering experience, preferably in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with scheduling and project management software is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting and RFIs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Plan according to project schedule and WorkFace Planning best practices.
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety, and issues.
