Job summary

Parkhill in El Paso, TX is seeking a part-time, hourly Engineering Assistant who is currently a Civil Engineering student. Under close supervision, you will support engineers, the CADD supervisor, and the project team with graphic materials, sketches, study materials, and permit applications.

You will participate in tasks such as quantity takeoffs, basic design calculations, and data collection, while maintaining the technical library and assisting with marketing proposals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Civil Engineering student at an accredited college or university.
• Familiar with computer-aided design and standard engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
• Assist with checking engineering calculations.
