Job summary

Parkhill, a leading architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a part-time Civil Engineering student to assist project teams with routine tasks, prepare design sketches, and support permit applications.

Under close supervision, you will help with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and basic design calculations, and you will gain hands-on experience with CAD and related software while contributing to real-world projects in the Southwest.

Qualifications

• Student status in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Assist with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
• Assist with checking engineering calculations.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and basic design calculations.
• Assist in preparing marketing proposals.
• Assist in collecting field data and test samples.

Qualifications

• Student status in Civil Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university.
