Job summary

Lumos & Associates seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE) to lead water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation and site development projects in California. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and collaborate with municipalities, developers, and agencies to deliver high-impact infrastructure.

Applicants should have a PE license in California, 7+ years of progressive experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive, relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from planning through design and construction.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners.
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC review.
• Mentor staff and project engineers.
• Assist with business development, including proposals and client relationship management.
