Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for a 12-week paid summer program in Providence, RI. You will assist design teams on site design projects and gain hands-on experience with a supportive engineering family.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible/remote work opportunities and a focus on professional growth within the Community Development group.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with a focus on site design and land development.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs is expected.
• Prior experience with CAD software is preferred.
• Ability to perform field work during internship.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.
