Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a civil engineering intern to assist site design teams on municipal-scale projects.

This 12-week paid summer program offers hands-on experience with a collaborative group of professionals in the Community Development division. You’ll perform basic site and drainage designs, apply sustainable site practices, help prepare permits, and support construction administration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred
• Ability to perform field work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
