Responsibilities

• Training Participation: rotate through district, field, and maintenance settings.
• Engineering Support: assist with studies, reviews, and inspections to learn PennDOT operations.
• Field Analysis: observe conditions to support engineering judgments and project recommendations.
• Technical Reporting: draft reports on design, geotechnical work, and safety issues.
• Project Assistance: support construction, maintenance, traffic analysis, and materials testing tasks.
