Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development to work on a range of projects from smaller assignments to larger programs in a collaborative team. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer civil systems, develop designs, and create three‑dimensional models while supporting junior staff.

The role emphasizes coordination, cost awareness, and adherence to codes with advanced software such as AutoCAD Civil3D and GIS. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Works independently on smaller projects and as part of a larger project team.
• Evaluates, selects, and engineers civil systems and products.
• Develops designs via sketches, models, diagrams and details.
• Leads project coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Performs calculations and quality assurance on projects.
