Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development to work on a variety of projects from concept through design and construction phase.

You will evaluate civil systems, prepare site plans, coordinate with teams and clients, and ensure cost-effective, sustainable solutions. A bachelor’s degree, PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer civil systems for projects.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and details.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details.
• Perform calculations using standard software and verify constructability.
