Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development to independently handle smaller projects and contribute as part of a larger team under senior guidance. You will evaluate and engineer civil systems, develop designs, and produce 3D models and documentation for site plans and details.

You will participate in client meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimation across varied projects. The role requires PE licensure or progress toward it, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on smaller projects and as a team member on larger projects.
• Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer civil systems or products.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and other formats.
• Create 3D models of civil systems and provide markups for juniors.
• Prepare and revise site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Assist in client meetings, value analysis, and early cost estimation.
• Help manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
