Stantec, a global engineering firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development in the Minneapolis and Des Moines area to work independently on smaller projects and as part of larger teams under senior engineers. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer civil systems, perform calculations, and develop 3D models and diagrams for comprehensive design packages.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and field work on projects of average complexity.
• Develop designs using sketches and 3D models.
• Lead project coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Assist in scope, budget, staffing, and scheduling.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications.
• Ensure quality assurance and control on projects.
