Job summary

TYG, a growing civil engineering firm in Houston, is expanding its land development group. You’ll work on private and municipal projects from design through approvals, collaborating with project managers, clients, municipalities, and subconsultants. We seek a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with 1–3+ years’ site design experience.

EIT is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong grading/utility/stormwater knowledge are important, along with good communication and a proactive,

• EIT licensure is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the design and coordination of site development projects, including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
• Prepare construction documents, stormwater calculations, and permit submittals
• Collaborate with clients and attend municipal meetings to support project approvals
• Work closely with Project Managers and subconsultants to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables
• Contribute to a range of private and municipal development projects
• Take on increasing project ownership as your experience develops

I’m working with a growing civil engineering consulting firm with a strong reputation in land development that is looking to expand its team in Houston.

The firm has built a strong presence in the market through its work across private and municipal development projects, offering engineers the opportunity to work on a varied project portfolio while developing their technical skills and taking on increasing responsibility.

This is a collaborative, design-focused environment where engineers work closely with experienced Project Managers, clients, municipalities, and sub consultants. The team is looking for individuals who are keen to contribute to projects from design through to approval and continue building a long-term career within land development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the design and coordination of site development projects, including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
