Project Civil Engineer (Site / Land Development)

Locations: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX

A highly respected, nationally recognized civil engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Texas.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and support the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling (HEC-RAS experience preferred)
  • Design site layouts including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion & sediment control
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate directly with clients, agencies, and internal teams
  • Contribute to proposal efforts and support client development initiatives
  • Mentor and guide junior staff as part of a collaborative team environment
What They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in site/civil or land development engineering
  • Strong background in stormwater management, drainage design, and hydrology/hydraulics
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with HEC-RAS preferred
  • Knowledge of local Texas land development processes and regulations
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or on track)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
