Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to work on land development projects under supervision. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in civil engineering and a path toward licensure, with exposure to grading, drainage, and three-dimensional modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and EIT certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of civil land development experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil design documents for grading, drainage, and street improvements.
• Develop 3D models of civil systems.
• Assist in project documentation across civil phases.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Prepare estimates and basic cost analyses under senior staff.
• Help manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Assist with project specs for construction documents.
• Perform calculations using company and manufacturer software.
• Participate in constructability reviews.
• Support QA/QC on projects.
• Work on multiple projects.
