Job summary

Stantec in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support senior engineers on a range of public infrastructure and master-planned community projects. You will help produce drawings from preliminary design through construction documents and assist with field observations.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years of experience, with strong problem-solving, communication, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic/hydrology tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of civil systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support design and drafting of grading, drainage, street improvements, and water/utility projects.
• Perform field work/construction observation as needed.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs.
