Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training in Portland, OR. The candidate will work on land development projects under senior staff, performing design, modeling, and documentation tasks. Two to three years in civil engineering and an EIT are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Engineer-In-Training Certification required or in process.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in land development or civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil design documents including grading, drainage, and utility improvements.
• Develop 3D models of civil systems and prepare/ revise project documentation.
• Participate in coordination meetings with clients, owners, and contractors.
• Prepare estimates and basic cost analyses under supervision.
• Support project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule under guidance.
• Assist with preparing and coordinating project specifications.
