Job summary

Stantec is actively seeking a full-time entry level Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Community Development practice in San Bernardino, Irvine, or Pasadena, California. In this role, you will prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities and assist with project implementation under supervision and mentorship.

You will work within a dynamic team to gain experience across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects while pursuing licensure as you develop

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.
• At least 1 year of engineering experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or plan to obtain FE within 6 months of hire in California.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities (grading, roadways, drainage, utilities).
• Assist with implementation of facilities on residential, commercial, industrial, institutional projects.
• Work under supervision in a team environment to gain licensure experience.
• Utilize MS Office for documentation and communication.
