Job summary

Kleinschmidt is seeking an Entry-Mid level Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team for dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage, recreation, renewable energy, and stream restoration projects. Hybrid work is available with in-office presence 2–3 days per week across multiple U.S. locations including Seattle.

The role offers a competitive salary range based on experience and requires US work authorization, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Erosion & sediment control and stormwater management design experience.
• Prior exposure to engineering design/construction support tasks.
• Engineer in Training (EIT).

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop designs.
• Assist with construction support for dam removals and embankment dam repairs.
• Support fish passage facilities, stream restorations, and renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate on recreation facilities and other civil site projects.
