Job summary

EXP in Celebration, FL is seeking a Contract Support Specialist to perform basic contract administration for civil transportation projects. You will import information into the MAC system and help monitor progress and prepare monthly estimates.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree or equivalent, FDOT or related project experience, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and CTQP Final Estimates Level 1 and 2 certifications. You will work in a collaborative, safety-minded team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or high school diploma or equivalent required with 4 years of road & bridge CEI experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions.
• Experience on FDOT, Expressway Authority, or other FHWA funded projects is preferred.
• Proficient in all office computer programs required for the project.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic contract administration functions for civil transportation projects.
• Import information into the MAC system.
• Measure completed work to date.
• Read and comprehend contract documents.
• Keep inspectors’ daily reports of assigned work activities.
• Prepare monthly construction estimates.
• Monitor construction progress for proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule and contract requirements and state/local regulations.
• Assist in reviewing and modifying schedules, specifications and drawings.
• Assist the Project Administrator in preparing Supplemental Agreements and Work Orders per FDOT specifications.
