Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Contract Support Specialist to join our Central Florida CEI team. You will support ongoing and future FDOT transportation construction projects and contracts throughout the region.

This role emphasizes effective communication with contractors, timely submittals, and thorough project documentation, while coordinating schedules, budgets, and contract changes to ensure on-time, cost-efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4 years in construction office management or 2 years with 3D Modeling/CADD.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software; independent initiative for clerical tasks.
• Familiar with FDOT procedures and ability to manage project reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely submittals, minutes, and documentation.
• Prepare reports and correspondence for project team and clients.
• Plan, schedule, and communicate with contractors to ensure contract compliance.
• Track costs, negotiations, pay estimates, and invoices.
• Prepare construction contract changes as field work orders and supplement agreements.
• Provide administration support for project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain records per FDOT rules and QA/QC processes.
