Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Citywide Case Manager to oversee the evaluation process for non-attending students under IDEA. You will coordinate consent, assessments, eligibility, IEPs, and 504 plans, engaging with families, schools and districts across Chicago.

The role emphasizes strong knowledge of timelines, documentation, and collaboration. Bilingual preferred; requirement for Illinois licensure and related endorsements is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, counseling, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• PEL with appropriate endorsement(s) required (e.g., Early Childhood Specialist).
• LBS1 and/or General Administrative endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates all special education team meetings including Consent/Assessment Planning, Eligibility, IEP conferences, and 504 plans.
• Completes follow-up documents and IEP/504-related paperwork.
• Contributes to IEP sections: General Considerations, Accommodations/Modifications, PLAAFP.
• Collaborates with CAT Administrator and Team Lead for efficient evaluation processes.
• Prepares and sends electronic documents to families via SSM in a timely manner.
