Job summary

Zoox is hiring a Manager, City Operations to lead day-to-day operations of the L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet as Zoox expands into new markets. You will oversee deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage while upholding the highest safety standards.

You will drive operational excellence, develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, and partner with product and stakeholders to enhance rider experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading the business side of large-scale operations.
• 3+ years managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Experience with safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in change management processes and handling large data sets.
• Ability to work on-site at market facilities and travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Zoox and contingent workforce teams for test fleet and robotaxi service.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and eliminate waste.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, including deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.
• Drive operational excellence with a customer-focused mindset and stakeholder collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and service enhancements.
