The position requires overseeing multiple library systems (Folio, Tipasa, InfoExpress, FiNDIt) and helping students and faculty navigate catalogs and reserves, while ensuring smooth workflows across shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in library services.
• Experience in access services or circulation preferred.
• Strong communication and courteous service skills.
• Ability to learn library systems, databases, and technology.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Support service-desk operations across Folio, Tipasa, InfoExpress, and FiNDIt; coordinate day-to-day workflow.
• Develop and maintain the service-desk staff schedule.
• Provide cross-training for service-desk functions and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate shift continuity by sharing relevant service information.
• Collaborate with other libraries and partners to resolve circulation, courier, and mail issues.
