Job summary

Macomb Community College seeks an experienced Chief Information Officer to provide college-wide technology vision, leadership, and operational oversight for IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and AI initiatives across multiple campuses.

You will ensure high availability, risk management, governance for SaaS systems, and alignment with the college’s strategic plan, while overseeing budgets and talent development.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible IT leadership in a complex organization.
• Experience leading enterprise systems modernization, including SaaS ERP/SIS platforms.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity, data governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance expertise in higher education or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide college-wide IT vision, leadership, and operational oversight for IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and AI initiatives.
• Maintain enterprise systems, data, processes, and goals aligned with the college’s mission and strategic plan.
• Lead cross-campus governance for enterprise systems and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems.
