Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT or a related field is required.
• Ten+ years of related experience in IT or technology leadership.
• Experience in higher education administration and supervision is preferred.
• Working knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA, and GDPR is required.
• Budgeting and business planning for fiscal sustainability for 5+ years is required.
• Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• (Critical)Lead efforts to provide cohesive educational technologies and ensure consistent data reporting across the college.
• (Critical)Drive AI, systems, automation, and data alignment priorities across departments.
• (Critical)Serve on governance councils and committees as needed.
• (Critical)Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and HR processes related to IT.
• (Critical)Act as the college’s CIO and liaison with state/national/international bodies.
• (Critical)Lead IT risk management, incident preparedness, response, and continuity programs.
• (Critical)Promote professional development to stay current in higher education IT.
• (Critical)Guide technology planning to support student success and operations.
