Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a hands-on mid-level engineer in Information Security to build backend authentication features for CIAM. You’ll work on registration, login, MFA, and device binding using Python or Kotlin, with Okta/Auth0/ForgeRock integrations across web, mobile, and partner apps.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, testing, and debugging software in Python or Kotlin (no fixed years).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing authentication features with mentorship.
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python or Kotlin for secure access.
• Integrate with identity platforms like Okta, Auth0, ForgeRock.
• Lead features through design, coding, reviews, and production deployment.
• Debug services, improve reliability, and analyze logs/metrics in production.
• Collaborate with teams to grow secure development practices.
