Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is hiring for a hands‑on, mid‑level engineer inside Information Security to help build CIAM capabilities that protect customers and support growth.

You will develop backend services in Python or Kotlin for registration, login, and account lifecycle, work with identity technologies like Okta/Auth0/ForgeRock, and participate in the full SDLC to deliver secure, reliable authentication features across B2C and B2B experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, databases, and version control.
• Interest in authentication, security, CIAM; prior CIAM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing authentication features—from smoother login experiences to MFA, step‑up authentication, and device binding, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
