Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation in an outpatient setting in Oklahoma. You will evaluate conditions, develop recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses.

In this role, you will supervise OT staff and collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians. A Bachelor's degree in OT/PT is required, with 3+ years of relevant experience and CHT credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in OT or PT.
• Doctorate in PT or OT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions.
• Design, fabricates and adjusts custom orthoses and splints.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and other therapists.
• Document delivery of occupational therapy services and maintain accurate records.
