Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation in outpatient care. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses as needed.

You will lead and supervise OT Assistants and students, collaborate with hand surgeons and clinicians, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions

Formation

Bachelor's degree

Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
