Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented ChromeOS Support Specialist to join our IS operations team. You will manage the lifecycle of Chromebooks and peripherals, administer Google Workspace, and ensure end-users remain productive and secure.

You will balance hands-on technical support with asset management, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain accurate inventory across our fleet.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Admin Console and ChromeOS.
• Experience with Windows/macOS is a plus.
• Hardware troubleshooting and inventory auditing experience.
• Preferred certifications: Google Workspace Administrator, Google IT Support, or CompTIA A+.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of enterprise/educational devices including enrollment, provisioning, and decommissioning.
• Administer Google Workspace environment and enforce security policies.
• Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for ChromeOS, Windows, and macOS endpoints.
• Maintain asset inventory using the Asset Management System.
• Oversee device receiving, tagging, etching, and distribution.
• Track loaner fleets, repair statuses, and warranties.
• Ensure data sanitization and e-waste recycling for end-of-life hardware.
